Consultation
At our first meeting we discuss and consult on all the elements required, such as features you may want to include and how you would like the garden to look and feel.
You may have some ideas or special requirements, and you relay these to me at this time.
I will then carry out a full site survey
– taking measurements, assessing soil, noting surroundings and aspect. I will also assess existing plants and features that may be included in the design.
Price £120 – £300
Concept Plan
I then take all this information and integrate into a detailed, hand drawn plan, laying out elements, features, hard landscaping and planting style.
The Concept plan is drawn to scale, in colour and accompanied with a mood board to give you some visual perspective of how the ideas all work together. There will also be cost estimates for materials, features and plants.
All presented to you at a second meeting for discussion.
Once any amendments have been made and the Concept Plan has been agreed, we then start to acquire Quotes from Landscapers for the Garden Build.
Planting Plans
as part of Concept Plan
A planting plan shows the collection of plants in a specific area, such as a border or along a pathway.
This is drawn to scale and clearly labelled.
It can then be used for us to make final decisions on plants and also as a map for the landscaper (or myself) to follow when planting up the areas.
and as an Individual Project
If there is an area of your garden that you would like to rejuvenate which requires just the planting plan, then I can do this too.
Master Plan
Once all the elements of your design have been agreed.
I then take the Concept Plan into a Master Plan.
This version of the plan is a map for the chosen landscaper to follow and will include measurements for all areas, specifications and placement of the features and materials.

To estimate a project before assessment is a difficult task as there are so many variables including: size of space, quantity of design elements and features, materials used, preparation work within the space etc. but to give you some idea:
First Consultation & Site Survey
£120 – £300.
Design Process
Including a scaled drawn Concept plan – £800 upwards.
Garden Build
Variable – estimated during design process.
